Oval base has rim around it. Two elegantly turned posts hold a drive wheel with six spokes and six half spokes in between them. At the other end the mother-of-all fits into the base; the maidens are turned like the wheel posts; the bobbin is wood but the flyer is brass with notches cut into it. A movable turned rod that is fastened to the base holds a wooden water cup.
